ROMANIA’S LOGISTICS AND INDUSTRIAL SPACE IN HIGH DEMAND IN FIRST HALF OF 2025
Bucharest continues to be the top choice for occupiers of industrial and logistics facilities, followed by Timișoara. In Q2 2025, roughly 100,000 sqm of new modern industrial and logistics space was delivered—most of it in the Bucharest region—bringing Romania’s total stock close to 8 million sqm. Demand in this quarter was led by the Retail & Consumer Goods sector, accounting for half of all leasing activity, while 3PL and Logistics operators represented 23%. At present, around 220,000 sqm of new projects are under development.
In Q2/2025, stock of "A" class industrial premises for lease reached 8,00 mil sq m;
There are currently 220,000 sq m under construction across all major industrial locations in Romania;
The vacancy rate decreased to 4,4%, compared to the previous quarter;
